Based in Bend, Oregon, Breedlove guitars is the lovechild of Larry Breedlove and Steve Henderson, two former Taylor luthiers who left to open their own shop. This '94 Breedlove RD model is not your stereotypical round-shoulder dreadnought - it's made primarily of Myrtlewood, an exotic Oregon tonewood that is said to combine the best elements of rosewood, mahogany, and maple into one tremendous sounding, gorgeous looking piece of wood. Just take a look at that back! This acoustic shows some player wear, with a couple dings and scratches here and there, but nothing to affect the sound or playability - and nothing that wholly detracts from the overall aesthetic!
