The Martin D-18 model has a been a celebrated classic since the 1930s. Its mahogany body and spruce top combo give these guitars a great alternative to its rosewood bodied, darker sounding sister D-28s, offering a much bigger midrange and a puncher top end.
This Martin D-18, produced in 1960, displays all the character and vibe you'd expect from a guitar of its age. Great looking, honest & vibey player wear is evident over most of the instrument. There is repaired body crack on the back, a center seam repair, re-glued bridge and a replaced guard that should be mentioned. Like all older Martins, it could befit from a neck reset at some point but currently plays very well and sounds amazing! This guitar truly has all the tonal characteristics and volume the Martin D-18s are know for and will easily excel in the studio or on the stage!
Weighs in at 4lbs 2oz and comes complete with it original hardshell case. Please email or call with any questions.
