Here we have an early '50s style Spanish solid body Blackguard. These Nacho replicas are as close as you can get to owning a real '50s Blackguard. So much so that the Neck date says TG 2/6/52 and Control Cavity tape reads Gloria 11/9/52 just like an early '50s Blackguard would. This Nachocaster also has a Maple neck, 9.5" fret board radius with Medium 95/47 frets, early to mid 1950s style large D profile neck that's very comfortable to play.
Neck Dimensions are 0,94'/0,99" depth at 1/12 fret; 1,66'/2,01" width at 1/12 fret. It weighs in at 6 Pounds, 5 Oz and has an early 50s Standard style bridge with brass saddles plus it's serial number stamped on bridge plate. The body is finished with Aged Gold nitro lacquer on a tempered/chambered ash body with plenty of dings and wear marks mostly around the edges. Plenty of playing wear is present on fingerboard and back of neck.
The pickups are vintage early 1950s Blackguard style pickups with a neck pickup reads 7.42k ohms and bridge pickup reads 9.06k ohms. Electronic configuration includes the powerful humbucking mode in the middle position: neck pickup + both pickups in series + bridge pickups all with tone control. The guitar comes with a black phenolic resin pickguard which has been cut, laquered and aged to early 1950s standards. It also comes with a rectangular tweed mid 50s style hard case (not aged).
