Introduced to the world in 1986, the BMW M3 was the high-performance variant of the wildly popular 3 Series. Developed by M-Performance, the in-house motorsport division of BMW, the car was Initially designed to meet the homologation requirements for the Group A Touring Car series. Named after the famed Venezuelan racing driver Johnny Cecotto, who achieved significant success in the world of motorsports, from Moto-GP to Formula 1, this edition was limited to only 505 units and featured unique styling cues and performance upgrades. Finished in distinctive colors like Nogaro Silver and Misano Red, the Johnny Cecotto edition included features such as a power increase to 200+ horsepower, 16-inch wheels, and a unique “M-Rain” interior,.
