The Marshall JMP 50 / 1987 Model has been a mainstay for many guitarists for decades. The warm British class A/B tones & big mid-range generated by these amps are legendary, unparalleled, and heard on thousands of albums. The mid 70s versions generally offer a little more of an aggressive attack than its earlier siblings and this one is no exception.
This 1977 example screams! It is still versatile enough to stand on a blues stage but will certainly peel paint off the wall! Cosmetically, this amp is a clean. It displays some small nicks to the tolex and some minor separation along the middle pipping on the front. There are no additional holes in the box to mention. The aluminum backplate displays some damage / bending around the top but may be able to be pressed back. There are no additional holes or mods to the chassis and all major components are original. This amp functions perfectly and kills!
