Launched at the London Motor Show in 1948, the XK120 was built as a show car to debut the new 3.4L straight-six, XK engine. As their first sports car since ending SS 100 production in 1939, this now iconic silhouette struck quite the chord around the world and was instantly put into production.
Throughout its six year production, the 120 was offered in three variations—a Roadster, Fixedhead Coupé and Drophead Coupé.
Photographed here, our 1954 Jaguar XK 120 Drophead Coupé is finished in Grey Metallic over an Oxblood leather interior. Powered by its believed to be original, 2.5L inline-six motor and mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, this wonderful final year example has just gone through an extensive mechanical refresh.
