1958 Martin D-28 Acoustic Guitar - Natural

The Martin D-28 is one of the most popular models of acoustic guitars ever produced. Introduced in 1931, these guitars were initially not as desired as the smaller body models of the day. As time would pass, they would become one of the most relied upon working man's guitars in the world, known for their booming projection and tone. 

This 1958 example, constructed of beautifully grained Brazilian rosewood, has a huge voice, great tone, and certainly represents all the characteristics these guitars are known for. The body has been over sprayed, the pickguard has been replaced as well as machines. The frets have been replaced and there are a couple of hairline cracks / cracks on the side that have been addressed. Again, these guitars were played..and should be! This model's reputation is well deserved. Overall, this guitar is in great shape, has been well maintained over the years, and will certainly excel in the studio or on the stage.
