Introduced in 2001, the Aston Martin Vanquish holds a prestigious place in British automotive history, and marks a pivotal moment in the marque's evolution. With its muscular design, featuring a bold front grille, sweeping lines, and a powerful 6.0-liter V12 engine under the hood, this model was a departure from the more simplistic designs of its predecessors, signaling the intent to embrace modern aesthetics while marrying them with contemporary performance standards. 

The significance of the Vanquish extends beyond the automotive realm; it played a crucial role in reviving James Bond's association with Aston Martin. From the late ‘80s onward, Aston Martin had largely disappeared from the Bond movies, but that all changed when the Vanquish was featured in the 2002 Bond film, "Die Another Day”—starring Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry—solidifying its status as a quintessential Bond car.

At the end of its three year production run, Aston Martin developed a trim level that would be featured on only 94 examples of the Vanquish, the Sports Dynamic Package (SDP). With enhanced performance derived from enlarged front brakes, shorter and stiffer springs, lightened wheels and a tweaked steering system, an SDP equipped Vanquish is truly a different animal. 

Photographed here, our 2004 Aston Martin Vanquish with the Sports Dynamic Package, has gone only 34k miles since new and is finished in its original, and rather rare configuration of Grigio Titanio (Ferrari paint code) over a luscious Caspian Blue, Connolly leather interior.
