2008 Gibson Custom Shop 1956 Les Paul R6 Electric Guitar - Gold Top

The ’56 Les Paul / R6 Reissue has been a staple of the Custom Shop (and many guitarists’ collections) for years - and for good reason. They are incredibly versatile instruments with a classic look, suitable for a myriad of playing styles and performance situations. And let’s face it: you can’t go wrong with P-90s!

This 2008 Custom Shop example is overall very clean, displaying only minimal honest player wear. The frets are in great shape and sit on a beautiful 12” radius Rosewood board and ‘50s-style “C” shape Mahogany neck. Combined with a Mahogany body and Maple top, the guitar weighs in at 9 lbs 7 oz and comes complete with its original hardshell case.
