Verified by Martin as a custom ordered instrument and initialed A.F.S 3-23-72 under the soundboard, this guitar is certainly its own beast! Featured appointments are beautifully grained Indian rosewood back and sides, a great looking spruce top, 41 / 45 style abalone inlay work around the soundboard and sound hole not to mention it also has amazingly well colored abalone snowflake / cats eye inlays on its ebony board. The most important part... it truly sounds and plays fantastic! This guitar has a voice! The neck angle is great, frets are in good condition with lots of life, and there is some room left in the saddle.
