This 1962 Fender Jazz Bass is generally considered by everyone who walks through the doors as one of the nicest basses we have on the wall. This particular model is a member of the legendary early "L"-series of Jazz Basses, and is everything you want in a vintage Jazz Bass: unparalleled tone, an incredibly smooth playing experience - that neck taper is just unreal! - and a classic look.
The body and headstock have both been refinished in Olympic White, which now displays a good bit of weather checking. The neck dates to November of 1962, and pots to the 10th week of 1964. The Brazilian board has great color and fantastic grain patterns; the frets are in good shape and have lots of life left in them. As mentioned, this bass has it where it counts, and is ready to go!
Weighs in at 8 lbs 15 and comes complete with its original hardshell case. Please email or call with any questions!
