Rob used his car as a daily driver and found that people often stopped him to ask if they could buy it. The idea to offer personalized restoration services began here. As a starting point, Dickinson and his team take each owner’s 964-era Porsche 911, setting out reimagine the performance and capability of the rear-engined icon for the twenty-first century. With early 911-inspired carbon-fiber body, a modified flat-six paired with a manual transmission and a bespoke interior that highlighted Singer’s craftsmanship and attention to detail, the first car was presented during Monterey Car Week in 2009. Now, fifteen years later, Singer has defined a new automotive sector and is renowned for its collaboration with owners of the air-cooled Porsche 911 to reimagine both turbocharged and naturally aspirated restorations.
