The Esquire is where it all started for Fender and electric guitars back in 1949. Over time, the Fender Esquire has graced many record covers, stages and some of the biggest songs ever recorded in music.
This 1964 example, finished in Blonde, has clearly lived the life, played the gigs and recorded the songs...This guitar sounds, plays and looks great!
All electronics are original, solder is untouched, pots date to the 40th week of 1963 and body dates to December of 1963. Neck dates to July of 1963, has been re-fretted, feels great and has a fantastic Brazilian board. The only thing that actually dates to 1964 on this guitar is the serial number!
