Very rare, and overall well kept example of a 1971 Fender Telecaster in factory Black finish with rosewood fretboard! As most know, the majority of Teles from this era seemed to be finished in Blonde and had a maple neck. It is always a treat to find any departure from those examples.. Factory Black with a rosewood board is truly like the fruit lining up for collectability! This guitar shows some honest player wear, but for the most part is pretty clean. Pots date to the 36th week of 1966 and neck dates to June of 1971. The front pickup has been rewound and sounds fantastic, as does the back pickup. Comes complete with its original hardshell case, factory strap and ashtray. Weighs in at 8 lbs 1 0z. Please email or call with any questions.
