This incredibly special 2009 Gibson Les Paul R7 is part of an exclusive run of "Black Widow" R7s commissioned by Sam Ash! This particular example is #3 of 25 ever made - of which only 15 were sent to the US. A very rare guitar indeed, this R7 is a bit of a Frankenstein of Gibson decades, incorporating features from the '50s (bridge, wiring, long tenon neck), '70s/'80s (tuners), and modern specs. That's right: this LP has a chambered mahogany body, helping make it one of the lightest guitars Gibson has produced. Looks and sounds mean as hell, thanks to the special Widowburst finish and pair of Burstbuckers; this guitar has an unbelievable resonance to it, is super comfortable, and an all-around amazing choice whether you're a collector or a player! Comes with original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
