2012 Fender Custom Shop HSS Stratocaster 1961 Reissue Relic Electric Guitar

This 2012 Fender Custom Shop 1961 Stratocaster Reissue pairs classic early ’60s Strat style with the added versatility of an HSS pickup configuration. Built in Fender’s Corona, California Custom Shop, it delivers the vintage inspired look, comfortable playing feel, and expressive tone that make the Stratocaster one of the most enduring electric guitar designs. The guitar channels the early-1960s Strat aesthetic while offering a practical modern twist: two single coil pickups in the neck and middle positions, plus a humbucker at the bridge. That layout preserves the glassy, bell like cleans and quacky in between positions Strat players love, while the bridge humbucker adds thickness, sustain, and higher output capability for rock, blues, and heavier styles. HSS configurations are specifically designed to combine traditional Strat voicing with humbucking power.
