Born from the Lotus Seven and built on the same uncompromising idea for more than fifty years, the Seven exists to deliver the single most direct connection between a driver and a road that money can buy—minimal weight, maximum feedback, nothing in between.
The Miami Edition is a true rarity—one of just twelve examples produced worldwide, each carrying its own individually numbered plaque and a dashboard signed by the Caterham technicians who hand-assembled it in England. Created to mark the Miami Grand Prix and the growing stateside presence of the Caterham brand, it is finished in a bespoke Aqua over vibrant pink-and-white graphics, complete with the Miami script along the flanks and a silhouette of the Miami Formula 1 circuit. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most visually arresting modern Sevens ever built.
Each of the individually numbered cars are built on the track-focused Seven R platform and dressed exactly as a competition tool should be. Beneath the louvered nose sits a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Ford Duratec four making 210 horsepower in a car weighing just 560 kilograms—roughly 1,235 pounds. The math is violent...375 horsepower per tonne, a five-speed manual, and 0–60 in 3.8 seconds, with no turbo, no electronics, and no filter between you and the experience.
