Circa 1998 Patek Philippe Calatrava in Yellow Gold Ref. 3802J w/ Box and Papers

Patek Philippe Calatrava is the “gold" standard for classic dress watch design, built with a focus on tradition and restraint. With a 33mm case in yellow gold, the Ref. 3802J is one of the last references to stay true to the more classic Calatrava proportions, before the line’s sizing modernized and shifted upward.

Our circa 1998 example shows minor surface wear throughout the case consistent with light use over the years. The sapphire crystal is spotless, and the lugs remain well defined, showing no indication of a prior polish. The eggshell-colored lacquer dial is flawless – evenly colored with crisp printing. Thin black pencil hands and slender Roman numerals lean fully into the traditional aesthetic. It is wearing the original Patek brown leather strap and yellow gold buckle. This clean Calatrava comes complete with its original box and papers.
