Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Personally Owned "Duck" John Cruz Custom Shop Artist Proof Stratocaster - Vintage White

In 2007 Mike Eldred (then head of Fender Custom Shop) & John Cruz traveled to Miami to pick up the original “Duck”. It flew back to Corona, CA In its own first class seat. Once in the shop it was disassembled and meticulously examined and studied in order the be replicated so extremely close it was indistinguishable from the original. Down to the numerous repairs and incorrect screws and so on. Even the rust pattern on the tremolo block is exact. Astonishing. The instrument was presented to me for approval at the 2008 Frankfurt Music Messe. I was completely amazed, it was surreal to experience such an extremely personal instrument so exact, so incredibly meticulous, so absolutely right. I have owned the “play loud” guitar since I was 15 years old, I scalloped it myself, did all the wiring-everything. This was the guitar I came to America with-this is the guitar on the cover of my first solo album “ Rising Force”. This is my Excalibur. This is the first tribute “Duck”.

This guitars is part of Yngwie Malmsteen's personal collection! It has been used on stage for various tours and in the studio. Includes a personally signed COA and, upon request, a personalized video of Yngwie playing this very guitar!
