Well kept, all original example of a 1965 Gibson SG Custom! This guitar has lived in the private collection of Michael Cochran, co- author of the celebrated book "Les Paul: In His Own Words", since 1973. While this SG has certainly shown its face at some gigs over the years, it has been well taken care of and is very much a beautiful example, showing only honest player wear.
This SG Custom has one original PAF in the bridge, two original Patent Number pickups, factory Bigsby, pots that date to the 5th week of 1964, and a serial number that dates to 1965. It weighs in at a perfect 7 lbs 6 oz, plays & sounds fantastic and comes complete with original hardshell case. Please email or call with any questions.
