Greer Amps Tarpit Fuzz Pedal
We accept most Payment methods & offer Financing
The Tarpit Fuzz from Greer Amps houses an incredibly versatile, dual-circuit fuzz machine in a stylish, durable stompbox, created after a vintage Big Muff Pi variant. Though only utilizing three control knobs - Sustain, Tone, and Volume - the Tarpit's circuitry is designed in a way to maximize the amount of tonal possibilities you can achieve when you hit the footswitch: messing with the Sustain can provide dark, spitty fuzz or bright, sustained grit; a wide-sweep Tone can provide typical frequency boosting or wild AM-radio-esque frequencies; and an inspired Volume knob allows for full fuzz tone at low volumes.
The TarPit Integrated Circuit Fuzz Machine is the newest release from Greer Amps. This pedal was created out of the desire to have the sound and feel of a vintage Muff style fuzz, with grit, and grind that will sustain for days. Based on the vintage Big Muff Pi variant that utilizes two integrated circuits, with some Greer Amps tweaks (not the standard 4 transistor version), the Tarpit has all of the sounds that one might expect from a Muff style fuzz, and so much more.
