Our Take:

J. Rockett's Archer is a stunning "Klon style" overdrive pedal that works phenomenally well with virtually any setup. The Archer employs an internal charge pump in order to boost its 9V up to 18V - producing anything from a light clean boost to a Gilmour-esque mid-gain crunch, with headroom for days! All of this organic, dynamic effect is housed in an exceptionally clean and sturdy stompbox that is sure to become a staple of your rig.

J. Rockett's Take:

The Archer is sort of a 2 in one pedal. It can be used as just a clean boost by turning the gain all the way down. As you introduce gain it will attenuate the clean signal but there is a magical blend in between that you will find. Please experiment!!
