This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette “Restomod" is a stunning reinterpretation of a traneisiontal year (’61-’62) C1. Built by classic Corvette specialists Loomis Automotive in Oklahoma City, OK, the car was meticulously restored during a four-year build from 2017 to 2021—leaving essentially just the body & brightwork and modernizing everything else. Finished in a striking shade of white and enhanced with a 1958 Corvette chrome front grille, headlight bezels, and side spears, the bodywork and overall atheistic is an artwork in itselfs. Both the original hardtop and a new black Stayfast cloth top accompany the car, while modern LED lighting elements add a contemporary touch. Rolling on polished 18” EVOD ACC Classic and Diamond Back Classic Redline tires, the car’s ride is second to none.
Inside, the cabin blends classic style with subtle modern upgrades. The Al Knock black leather interior includes bucket seats embossed with Corvette logos, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, and an Antique Automotive Radio with AM/FM/Bluetooth functionality. Custom touches such as an Ididit tilt steering column, Lokar pedals, and Daytona carpeting add to the comfort and usability. The trunk is boxed and upholstered in black leather, Powering this Corvette is a GM Performance 6.2L LS3 V8 rated at 430HP, paired with a GM Performance 4L65 automatic transmission. The engine compartment is a work of art, with features like a Billet Specialties Tru Trac pulley system, DeWitts aluminum radiator, and polished dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers. Beneath it all lies an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis, silver powder-coated and equipped with polished suspension components, coil overs, and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes.
Having traveled only 605 miles since its completion, this Corvette is a true masterpiece, fully documented and ready for its next chapter.
