Our 1972 Porsche 911 HotRod reflects a deep understanding of the significance that was baked into the likes of the ST and RS models of the era.
Built by RS Werks, power comes from an aluminum-case 2.5-liter twin-plug Flat-6, paired with a Stomski Racing shifter and a sport exhaust system feeding a dual-out Dansk muffler. Weight reduction was approached comprehensively, with hand-built steel flares, aluminum body panels, fiberglass bumpers, lightweight rear glass, and a stripped, purpose-built interior featuring ST-style seats, a roll bar, and rear seat delete.
The chassis was carefully reinforced with strengthened shock supports, jack points, and front strut tower bracing, while braking and suspension are addressed with PMB 908-style front calipers and restored period-correct Koni dampers. Finished on 15-inch RSR-spec Fuchs wheels and supported by a 100-liter fuel tank.
All-in-all, this is truly one of the best HotRods that we’ve ever seen.
