Fender teamed up with Radiohead's Ed O'Brien to create a Stratocaster that's as diverse and unique as the sound it's namesake is known for. The EOB Strat is typical only in looks, sporting three different pickups - a Sustainer Driver Pickup, a Texas Special Single-Coil and a Duncan JB Jr Humbucker - and a gamut of technologies for sonic experimentation that can take you from lush, ambient soundscapes to harsh, full-throttle aggression...all within the confines of an Alder body, Maple neck, Olympic White Stratocaster!

At times ethereal and ambient, at others dystopian and aggressive, Ed O’Brien’s contributions to Radiohead’s catalog have been as unique as the man himself. When he needed a guitar that could go above and beyond the normal requirements of the instrument, he chose to create something all his own. The result is this: the EOB Sustainer Stratocaster.
